Chocolate Delish Dish :)

It's close to Christmas time yet again, sweets and goodies are definitely part of the festive season. Here is one for those with a sweet tooth.

Chocolate Delights in three easy steps.

Utensils:

A pan and boiler
Heat proof bowls
Plastic Molds
Wooden and stainless steel spoons
Chopping board for the chocolate
Knife
Toothpicks, plastic straws or lollipop sticks

Ingredients:
Bitter sweet chocolates 500grams
nuts, raisins, marshmallows 40 grams

Procedure:

Step 1 Melt
Cut chocolate blocks into small pieces. the smaller the easier it is to melt.

Place chocolate pieces into a pan small enough to fit into the boiler.

Place boiler with water on stove until water simmers.

Put pan with chocolates into boiler. Ensure that water and steam doesn't get into pan as it would affect texture of the chocolates.

Stir chocolate constantly using the wooden spoon until the chocolate has completely melted, until it becomes thick and smooth.

Step 2

Pour liquefied chocolate into the mold or heat proof containers.

Scrape off the sides of the pan with the stainless steel spoon.

Put fillings of your choice. If you wish them to be encased in the chocolate instead as toppings, use a spoon to pour the first batch of chocolates then insert the filling and top it off with another spoonful of chocolate.

Use the toothpicks to fix the fillings and remove any bubbles from the chocolate molds.

Step 3: Setting
Allow to cool and harden before placing it into the freezer for about 2 - 3 minutes.

Gently turn the mold face down onto a clean surface and tap lightly to remove the candies. You will know that the chocolate is ready if it easily pops out. If it sticks after a couple of light taps return the chocolates back into freezer for another 2 minutes.

Place candies into the paper cups and arrange them on a decorative plate or tray ready to serve.
Perfect with your favorite wine and soda beverages.
