TLA and Emerald City ComiCon
Okay, for real this time -- I'll be at the Emerald City ComiCon this weekend in Seattle. I'll be at table I-05 in Artist Alley. I won't have anything new for sale unfortunately, but I'll be sharing the table with the mighty Greg Means of Tugboat Press and he'll have plenty of awesome merch to spend your hard-earned cabbage on. Come on by! Right now I'm writing this from a hotel room while attending the Texas Library Association Conference. This is my first time attending a convention for librarians and I'm having a great experience so far. Having been a library aide years ago, I feel right at home. And Gloria Steinem is speaking tomorrow! Anyway, I dunno if anyone reading this is attending, but just in case here's my schedule:THURSDAY, 4/2Texas Teens 4 Libraries10:00-10:25 amHilton Americas Grand Ballroom, section D&EDescription: Kean Soo and I will be talking to teens about making comics.FRIDAY, 4/3Mavericks of YA Graphic Novels programConvention Center, 3rd level, General AssemblyDescription:Libraries serving teens cannot keep graphic novels on the shelves!
