Anyway.
There are a few new characters introduced in Betrayed and Chosen, the second and third books in the series, and there are a few characters that we have met before but we get to see a lot more of in these installments.
First up, is Damien's boyfriend, Jack Twist. He's openly gay, carries a man-purse and is very technologically savvy. He's sort of the AV-sidekick of the group; he's not central to their success, but his geeky skills certainly come in handy. I think this guy, Ian Harding, is the man for the job.
Next, James Stark. The archery champion of the world, who also happens to be a gorgeous 17 year old vampyre fledgling (of course). We see him just briefly in this book before he becomes undead. Well, undead in this vampyre story means something different than the undead of other vampire stories... you know what, just take my word for it. He starts off hot, then turns scary. I kind of like this guy, Liam Hemsworth:
Yes, I know, he dated Miley Cyrus. Do you want to be held accountable for every poor dating choice you made as a youngster? Give him a break, I think he could do this. Shoot arrows at semi-innocent girls while in a zombified-vampiric state? Yes.
That's pretty much it for new fledglings, but we do get to meet a new teacher. Really meet him, if ya-know-wudd-I-mean... ahem. He's a poet laureate, lit teacher,
As for Zooey's bible-thumping mother and stepfather, I see Dylan Walsh and Melora Hardin for some reason:
