Underrated books? I guess this is the true test of book-nerdery, huh? Or book-hipsterism, if you want to look at it another way.
This is where I ought to dazzle you with the unknown, show off how cool I am for not only knowing about, but loving, this book that you've never even heard of.
Here's the problem: I have very typical taste.
If I think a book is awesome, there's a good chance that a few million other people think so, too. If I think a book is so-so, then most of you probably agree.
Plus, I'm really not that cool. I just don't know about things that nobody knows about. So, for this day, the seventh day, I am resting (a little dose of irony for you) and I will let you all tell me what book you think is underrated and that I absolutely should be reading.
So, please, tell me: what gems have you uncovered in the reading world that you think absolutely everybody MUST read but NOBODY is reading?(I swear to you, if you tell me to read something and it totally sucks... well, there's pretty much nothing I can do... but you will have made a powerless enemy.)
